Brandeis University has announced the launch of a new MBA with a focus in public management, according to a university news release.
The new AACSB-accredited MBA in Public Management will be offered by the Heller School of Social Policy and Management, which also offers an MBA program in Nonprofit Management.
The MBA in Public Management is aimed at students who are currently working in the public sector who want to expand their leadership skills, or those who wish to pursue careers in local, state, or Federal Government.
According to the Brandeis press release, the public management concentration will complement the existing MBA curriculum with both theoretical and applied courses in areas unique to the public sector, including procurement of resources, policy and program implementation, outcome measurement and government budgeting.
