Stanford to Offer MBA Fellowships for Citizens of African Countries

Stanford University´s Graduate School of Business has announced that it will award its first MBA fellowships for citizens from African countries beginning this year.

The Stanford Africa MBA Fellowships will cover tuition and associated fees for the two-year MBA program, at an estimated value of around $140,000.

Up to eight fellowships will be awarded annually.

Eligible applicants include citizens from countries in Africa who have been admitted to Stanford´s MBA program.

Stanford Africa MBA fellows must also return to Africa within two years of completing the MBA program, and work there for at least two years.

According to a Stanford news release, applicants will be assessed on Stanford´s admission criteria of intellectual vitality, demonstrated leadership potential, and personal qualities and contributions.
